This tutorial uses a different technique.  You will only see the canvas in the downloaded file.  Everything you need is on the canvas.  Make sure you have your Layer Palette visible.  You will Load from the Alpha Channel (not Selections).

Download Supplies HERE 

I left a background layer.  You may want to flood fill to help you see better.  You can delete this layer before merging.

Open Desert Rabbit ©2004 Carla Polston canvas and fill pattern
Duplicate rabbit image (Shift D) and save the original.
Save As and name in PSP format.

BODY
Click on body-cp layer on Layer Palette
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – body1-cp
Flood Fill with fill pattern provided in the zipped file.



Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – detail1-cp
Adjust - Brightness and Contrast (Shift+B) Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – body2-cp
Flood Fill with fill pattern
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – detail2-cp
Adjust - Brightness and Contrast - Same settings

Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – body3-cp
Flood Fill with fill pattern
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – detail3-cp
Adjust - Brightness and Contrast - Same settings

Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – body4-cp
Flood Fill with fill pattern
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – detail4-cp
Adjust - Brightness and Contrast - Same settings

EYE AND NOSE
Click on eye and nose-cp layer on Layer Palette Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – eye and nose-cp
Flood Fill black
Effects - 3D - Inner Bevel - Jasc Round setting changing angle to 55.
Select None (Ctrl+D) Effects - 3D - Drop Shadow


You may delete the backgrond layer and merge visible.
SAVE
