This tutorial uses a different technique. You will only see the canvas in the downloaded file. Everything you need is on the canvas. Make sure you have your Layer Palette visible. You will Load from the Alpha Channel (not Selections).

Duplicate (Shift D) and close original to save for another use.
Save in PSP format and name as you wish.

Have you Layer Palette open

I left a background layer so you can flood fill to help you see better. You can delete it when you are finished.

Click on heart-cp layer on Layer Palette.
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – heart-cp
Flood Fill with color you your choice (#C00000)
Effects - 3D - Inner Bevel - You will need to change the color to a lighter shade of the color you filled with. I put the color I used.

Click on ribbon1-cp layer on Layer Palette.
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – ribbon1-cp
Flood Fill #FCB63C

Click on ribbon1-cp layer on Layer Palette.
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – ribbon1-cp
Flood Fill with the Sunburst Gradient
Set Foreground to a lighter color of your choice (#00FF00)
Set Background to a darker color of your choice (#004000)
Set Foreground to Sunburst fill.

Repeats 2
Horizontal 50
Vertical 45

Bow TUTORIAL to accent this.

Do Not Merge Visible
I would save this original without merging.
Then you can Colorize or adjust Brightness/Contrast and get many different colors.
