PRETTY PAINTED EGGS
(Written Using PSP6)

Preparation:
My Pretty Painted Egg Supplies are HERE
Place selection in PSP selections folder.  I make a new 
folder and name it in order to find it easier.
Open images from downloaded file and place in folder of 
your choice.
New Image 200 X 200
You may want to flood fill Layer1 with a color of 
you choice to make easier to see. 
You can delete the bottom layer later.
Save often!!

We’re going to use the same process as Egg 1 on all the
Eggs.  The only thing we are changing are the fills and
Layer Blend Modes.  On some we’ll add an extra layer of 
Color.

EGG1
Open fill1 and duplicate (Shift D)
Close the original image.
Selections – Load From Disk base1cp.sel
Hit the Delete key on keyboard several times.
Select All – Float (Ctrl A & D)
New Layer
Flood fill (bucket) with your color choice.
(I used #EE9CE9)
On Layer Palette change Layer Blend to Screen
(We will be changing Layer Blend on most of the eggs.)

New Layer
Image – Effects – Cutout – Fill Interior not checked – 
Shadow Color Black – Opacity 80 – Blur 60 –
Vertical & Horizontal 0. 
(This is the cutout I used on most of the eggs.  You
may find you want to change these settings slightly 
depending on the colors you use.)
Deselect (Ctrl D).
You can play with Colors – Colorize and create many
Different colors.
You may merge layers (Right click on any layer in
Layer Palette) and export as tube.
SAVE!
Another variation of this egg is going to using the same
above process but making these changes:
Colors – Negative Image on Layer 1 (fill1).
New Layer – Flood Fill your choice of color
Layer Blend on Layer Palette – Color
New Layer – Apply Cutout.


EGG 2

Open fill2 and duplicate (Shift D)
Close the original image.
Selections – Load From Disk base1cp.sel
Hit the Delete key on keyboard several times.
Select All – Float (Ctrl A & D)
New Layer
Flood fill (bucket) with your color choice.
(I used a Liner Gradient – Angle 90  Gradients
will come out different depending on their opacity.
Experiment and have fun!)
On Layer Palette change Layer Blend to Lighten
New Layer
Image – Effects – Cutout – Same setting or modify
For the color you used.
Deselect (Ctrl D).
You can play with Colors – Colorize and create many
Different colors.
You may merge layers (Right click on any layer in
Layer Palette) and export as tube.
SAVE!

EGG 3

Open fill3 and duplicate (Shift D)
Close the original image.
Selections – Load From Disk base1cp.sel
Hit the Delete key on keyboard several times.
Select All – Float (Ctrl A & D)
New Layer
Flood fill (bucket) with your color choice.
(I used #CE68F8)
On Layer Palette change Layer Blend to Hard Light
New Layer
Flood fill (bucket) with your color choice.
On Layer Palette change Layer Blend to Screen
New Layer
Image – Effects – Cutout – Same setting or modify
for the color you used.
Deselect (Ctrl D).
You can play with Colors – Colorize and create many
different colors.
You may merge layers (Right click on any layer in
Layer Palette) and export as tube.
SAVE!

EGG 4

Open fill8 and duplicate (Shift D)
Close the original image.
Selections – Load From Disk base1cp.sel
Hit the Delete key on keyboard several times.
Select All – Float (Ctrl A & D)
New Layer
Flood fill (bucket) with your color choice.
(I used  #F4DCA4)
On Layer Palette change Layer Blend to Difference
Lower Layer Opacity to 94.
New Layer
Flood fill (bucket) with your color choice.
On Layer Palette change Layer Blend to Soft Light
New Layer
Flood fill (bucket) with your color choice.
On Layer Palette change Layer Blend to Hard Light
New Layer
Image – Effects – Cutout – Same setting or modify
For the color you used.
Deselect (Ctrl D).
You can play with Colors – Colorize and create many
Different colors.
You may merge layers (Right click on any layer in
Layer Palette) and export as tube.
SAVE!

Ok, I think you have the idea.  I provided several patterns
to play with.  I also included a sel you can fill and use
solid colors, Blade Pro, or your on patterns, fills, etc. 
There is also grass to tube and fill in basket! 

Have fun, experiment, and enjoy!  I know you will end up 
with Some fantastic painted eggs.
