REINDEER POT
(Written using PSP6)

First of all I owe a super big thanks to Quist. She was 
such an angel to offer help writing this tutorial.

I always hope you learn something new when you are 
working on tutorials.  This time I didn't use vectors 
or node editing.  However, you will have to do 
a little painting.  I know you can accomplish this!

Reindeer Pot Supplies HERE

Open images from downloaded file. 

Export berry, needles, and snow to Picture Tubes.
Use color key to place colors in custom palette.

POT
Save your work!
Select pot image.
Image - Canvas Size    * Image: canvas size 193 x 296 *
Select bottom of the pot (red) using Magic Wand - 
Tolerance 20 - Feather 0. 
Fill with Color #B5A59B.
Invert - Apply Drop Shadow - Color #7B6659 - Opacity 100 - 
Blur 20.5 - Vertical and Horizontal 0.
Deselect
Select top of the pot (blue) and repeat the same steps.
Fill with Color #B5A59B.
Invert - Apply Drop Shadow - Color #7B6659 - Opacity 100 - 
Blur 20.5 - Vertical and Horizontal 0.
Deselect
Image - Noise - Add 4 - uniform.
Select background with Magic Wand - Selection - 
Modify - Feather 3 - Hit the Delete key 3 times.

ANTLERS
Save your work!
Add new layer and name antler.
Color #FOECE2
Use Paint Brush - Round - Size 40 - Hardness 80 - 
Opacity 100 - Step 1 - Density 100.
Paint antler shape.

Select with Magic Wand.
Color #7B6659 - Airbrush - Round - Size 20 - Hardness 33 -
Opacity 25 - Step 50 - Density 24.
Spray around edge of ear. 
Image - Noise - Add 8 -uniform.
Deselect
You may want to use Deformation Tool to resize or rotate a little.
Go to Layer Palette and drag this layer to bottom.
Right click on antler layer - Duplicate - Image - Mirror.
Use Mover Tool to place if necessary.

EARS
Save your work!
Add a new layer and name ear.
Color #B5A59B - Paint Brush - Round - Size 25 - 
Other settings remain the same.
Paint shape of the ear.

Use Deformation Tool to reshape and size if necessary.
Select with Magic Wand.
Color #7B6659 - Airbrush - Settings remain the same.
Selections - Modify - Contract 12 - Fill with Color #F0ECE2. 
Keep selected and Airbrush around edge using 
Color #7B6659 but bring size down to 10.
Image - Effects - Drop Shadow - Color #4E3D30 - Blur 4.7 - 
Other settings remain the same.
Invert and apply same Drop Shadow.
Deselect
Image - Noise - Add 4 - uniform.
Right click on layer in Layer Palette - Duplicate - 
Image - Mirror
Use Mover Tool to place if necessary.

NEEDLES
Save your work!
I found these look a little nicer if 
placed on two layers.
New layer under the pot and name back needles. 
Tube some needles on this.
New layer on top of pot and name front needles. 
Tube some needles on this.
Optional - I airbrushed some snow on the needles 
using the same airbrush setting with white.

BERRIES
Save your work!
Click on pot layer and add a new layer named berries. 
Tube berry and use Mover Tool to place if necessary.
Use Magic Wand and select background.
Invert and tube snow on top of berry.
Optional - I inverted and applied a drop shadow - Color black - 
Blur 12.6 - Other settings the same.  Then went to 
Selections - Modify - Feather 1 - Delete key 3 times.
Invert - Copy
Deselect
Paste (Cntl E) and place with Mover Tool - Twice.

EYES
Save your work!
Click on top layer (front needles).
Make my eye image active - Drag from the 
Layer Palette to your reindeer pot image. 
Place with Mover Tool.
Right click on eye layer - Duplicate - Image - Mirror.
Place with Mover Tool if necessary.

NOSE
Save your work!
Make my nose image active - Drag from the Layer 
Palette to your reindeer pot image. 
Place with Mover Tool.
Use magic Wand and select background - Invert - 
Selections - Modify - Contract 3
Add a layer right under nose.
Image - Drop Shadow - Blur 15 - 
Other settings remain the same.
Congratulations!!!  You're finished.  I hope you 
had a good time and learned something new.
