This tutorial uses a different technique.  You will only see the canvas in the downloaded file.  Everything you need is on the canvas.  Make sure you have your Layer Palette visible.  You will Load from the Alpha Channel (not Selections).

Download Supplies HERE 

Duplicate (Shift D) and close original to save for another use.
Save in PSP format and name as you wish.

Use any colors you want! You may have to adjust Brightness/Contrast depending on the colors you use. I gave the colors I used if you want to use the same ones.

HEART
Click on heart-cp layer on Layer Palette.
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – heart-cp
Flood Fill #F3E1E1
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – detail1-cp.
Adjust Brightness/Contrast (Shift+B)

  • Brightness (-100)
  • Contrast 50
SAVE

WORDS OR PICTURE
Put whatever message or picture you would like here.
If you use a picture, you can load heart-cp - invert - tap Delete key on keyboard to get rid of excess picture that goes over the edge.

BUG
Click on bug1-cp layer on Layer Palette.
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – bug1-cp-cp

Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – bug2-cp-cp

Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – bug3-cp-cp

  • Angle 99
  • Other settings the same

BOW
Click on bow-cp layer on Layer Palette.
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – bow-cp

Select None (Ctrl+D)

  • Vertical 0
