Base
gif format(gif)       or       png format(png)

This image will be your working base.
You may want to magnify to around 500% - 600%.

I supplied you with either gif format or png format. You can open gif in Animation Shop and export to PSP, Save As (F12) and name to a location of your choice.

For the png format, just grab hold of the image and drag over to your PSP workspace. Save As (F12) and name to a location of your choice.
PSP directions below.

For those of you that use other programs, here is a larger images showing shading. You can use this or shade the way you like.

Directions for PSP.

You may want to save as psp format or a program that works with layers. This way you can put the ornaments and bows on separate layers, change colors for different projects or animate.

How to put on separate layers:

Use the Selection Tool - Rectangle without an Anti-alias and 0 Feather to select around each of the red circles.

Click inside the selection.

The circle with be Floating.

Right click on this Floating Selection layer on the Layer Palette(F8) and Promote Selection to a Layer. You can double click on this layer on the Layer Palette and name if you wish.

Click back on the bottom (Raster1) layer on the Layer Palette and continue the above process for all the circles and bows until you have each on its own layer. Do not forget to click back on the bottom layer each time to select.

To change the outline color to a color of your choice, use the Color Replacer Tool. Right click on the color in the image this will give you that color for the background fill. Click on the Foreground color on the Materials Palette and select the color you want to replace it with. Then just double click on the image. It will change all that color. Much easier than painting over it all. You may need to adjust the Tolerance. I filled the lip of the pots a little darker shade then the base of the pots.

Click on the layer you want to work on in the Layer Palette. Use the Magic Wand to click inside each of the areas you want to fill. MAGIC WAND SETTING Flood fill each area with a base color. Then you can use the Paint Brush detail with 1 pixel.

You may use my image above as a shading guide or apply some Cutouts or other Effects.
Play around and see what you like. I used an Inner Bevel on the Star

I would leave this in PSP format on separate layers so you can change colors later if you would like. Duplicate and merge the duplicated copy for other formats.

Hope you have enjoyed this tutorial.
