You will Load from the Alpha Channel (not Selections).  Everything you need is on the canvas.  Make sure you have your Layer Palette visible.

I left a background layer.  You may want to flood fill to help you see better.  This image is fairly transparent. You may want to flood fill with the background color you want to use the image on and select colors that will go with the background.  You can delete this layer before merging.

Duplicate image (Shift D) and save the original.
Save As and name in PSP format.
Use your choice of colors. I put the colors I used in parenthesis.

WINGS
Click on wings-cp layer on Layer Palette
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – wings-cp
Flood Fill with your choice of color (#75b8f7)
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – detail1-cp
Flood Fill with your choice of color (#0b65b1)
SAVE

BELL
Click on bell-cplayer on Layer Palette
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – bell-cp
Flood Fill with your choice of color - Click 3 times. (#77cb77)
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – detail2-cp
Flood Fill with your choice of color (#145e14)
SAVE

CAPE
Click on cape-cp layer on Layer Palette
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – cape-cp
Flood Fill with your choice of color (#f3e49f)

SAVE

BOOK
Click on book-cp layer on Layer Palette
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – book-cp
Flood Fill with your choice of color (#933333)

HANDS
Click on hands-cp layer on Layer Palette
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – hands-cp
Flood Fill with your choice of color (#d5b79d)
Selections – Modify - Contract 1
Adjust - Brightness/Contrast (Shift+B)

  • Brightness: 20
  • Contrast: 0
SAVE

SLEEVES
Click on sleeves-cp layer on Layer Palette
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – sleeves-cp
Flood Fill with your choice of color (#f3e49f)
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – detail4-cp
Flood Fill with your choice of color (#b89818)
SAVE

HEAD
Click on head-cp layer on Layer Palette
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – head-cp
Flood Fill with your choice of color (#d5b79d)
Selections – Modify - Contract 1
Adjust - Brightness/Contrast (Shift+B)- Same Setting

Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – face-cp
Adjust - Brightness/Contrast (Shift+B)

  • Brightness: -150
  • Contrast: 50

SAVE

HALO
Click on halo-cp layer on Layer Palette
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – halo-cp
Flood Fill with your choice of color (#b89818)
SAVE


You may delete the backgrond layer.
