Gingerbread Cheerleader

This tutorial uses a different technique.  You will only see the canvas in the downloaded file.  Everything you need is on the canvas.  Make sure you have your Layer Palette visible.  You will Load from the Alpha Channel (not Selections). Download supplies HERE 

GINGERBREAD BASE
Please go HERE and complete the base for all the gingerbread series.
Have the image open and ready to use along with the open canvas for this tutorial.

Duplicate (Shift D) and close original to save for another use.
Save in PSP format and name as you wish.

I left a background layer.
You may want to flood fill to help you see better.
You can delete this layer before merging.
Have you Layer Palette open

GINGERBREAD
Click on gb base-cp layer on Layer Palette.
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – gb base-cp
Click on the premade base image (Ctrl C) to copy.
Click back on the gingerbread base layer of the new image (Ctrl+Shift+L) to paste into selection.

SLEEVES
Click on sleeves-cp layer on Layer Palette.
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – sleeves-cp
Flood Fill #FCF8F8
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – detail1-cp
Adjust Brightness/Contrast (Shift+B)

• Brightness (-150)
• Contrast 0

DRESS
Click on dress1-cp layer on Layer Palette.
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – dress1-cp
Flood Fill #000080
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – detail2-cp
Adjust Brightness/Contrast (Shift+B)

• Brightness & Contrast 100

• Brightness (-100)
• Contrast 0

POM POM 1
Click on pompom1-cp layer on Layer Palette.
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – pompom1-cp
Flood Fill #800000
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – detail4-cp
Adjust Brightness/Contrast - Same settings
SAVE

POM POM 2
Click on pompom2-cp layer on Layer Palette.
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – pompom2-cp
Flood Fill #800000

Adjust Brightness/Contrast

• Brightness (-75)
• Contrast 0

MEGAPHONE
Click on tongue depressor-cp layer on Layer Palette.
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – tongue depressor-cp

Adjust Brightness/Contrast - Same Settings
SAVE

BOW
Click on bow1-cp layer on Layer Palette.
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – bow1-cp
Flood Fill #000080
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – bow2-cp
Flood Fill #800000
SAVE

You may delete background layer (bottom layer), merge visible and SAVE!
