This tutorial uses a different
technique. You will only see the canvas in the downloaded file.
Everything you need is on the canvas. Make sure you have your Layer
Palette visible. You will Load from the Alpha Channel (not Selections).

GINGERBREAD BASE
Please go HERE and complete the base for all the gingerbread series.
Have the image open and ready to use along with the open canvas for this tutorial.

Duplicate (Shift D) and close original to save for another use.
Save in PSP format and name as you wish.
I left a background layer.
You may want to flood fill to help you see better.
You can delete this layer before merging.
Have you Layer Palette open
GINGERBREAD
Click on gbread-cp layer on Layer Palette.
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – ggbread-cp
Click on the base image (Ctrl C) to copy.
Click back on the gingerbread sunny image (Ctrl+Shift+L) to paste into selection.
HAT
Click on hat 1-cp layer on Layer Palette.
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – hat 1-cp
Flood Fill #008000
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – detail 1-cp.
Flood Fill #004000
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – hat 2-cp
Flood Fill #00FF00
Adjust - Add/Remove Noise - Add 20% Uniform
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – detail 2-cp.
Flood Fill #008000
YOYO
Click on yoyo-cp layer on Layer Palette.
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – string-cp
Flood Fill #0000FF
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – yoyo-cp
Flood Fill #FFFF00
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – detail 3-cp
Flood Fill #971305
SAILBOAT
Click on sailboat-cp layer on Layer Palette.
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – sailboat 1-cp
Flood Fill #0000FF
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – sailboat 2-cp
Flood Fill #00FF00
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – sailboat 3-cp
Flood Fill #FF0000
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – detail 4-cp
Adjust - Brightness and Contrast - Brightness/Contrast (Shift+B)
- Brightness and Contrast (-100)
You may delete background layer (bottom layer), merge visible and SAVE!
