Gingerbread New Year

This tutorial uses a different technique.  You will only see the canvas in the downloaded file.  Everything you need is on the canvas.  Make sure you have your Layer Palette visible.  You will Load from the Alpha Channel (not Selections).

Download Supplies HERE 

Duplicate (Shift D) and close original to save for another use.
Save in PSP format and name as you wish.

I left a background layer.
You may want to flood fill to help you see better.
You can delete this layer before merging.
Have you Layer Palette open

GINGERBREAD BASE
Please go HERE and complete the base for all the gingerbread series.
Have the image open and ready to use along with the open canvas for this tutorial.

GINGERBREAD
Click on ggbread-cp on Layer Palette.
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – ggbread-cp
Click on the base image (Ctrl C) to copy.
Click back on the gingerbread new year image (Ctrl+Shift+L) to paste into selection.

HAT
Click on hat-cp layer on Layer Palette.
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – hat-cp.
Flood Fill #FF0000.
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – detail 1-cp.
Flood Fill #400000

CLOCK
Click on handle-cp layer on Layer Palette.
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – handle-cp.
Flood Fill White.

Deselect (Ctrl D)
Inner Bevel - Use Jasc Bead setting changing:
*Bevel to #2 (Round)
*color to #0000FF

Click on back clock-cp layer on Layer Palette.
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – back clock-cp.
Flood Fill White.

Deselect (Ctrl D)
Inner Bevel - Use Jasc Bead setting changing only the color:
*color to #FF0000
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – front clock-cp.
Flood Fill #FFFF00.
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – detail 2-cp.
Flood Fill #800000 (Click a couple of times).
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – numbers-cp.
Flood Fill #00FF00.
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – hands-cp.
Flood Fill #0000FF.
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – center-cp.
Flood Fill #00FF00.

BLOWER
Click on blower-cp layer on Layer Palette.
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – blower-cp.
Flood Fill #FFFF00.
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – detail 3-cp.
Flood Fill #800000.

Click on tip-cp layer on Layer Palette.
Selections – Load from Alpha Channel – tip-cp.
Flood Fill White.

Deselect (Ctrl D)
Inner Bevel - Use Jasc Bead setting changing:
*color back to #0000FF

You may delete background layer (bottom layer), merge visible and SAVE!
