A brand identity created for the Cuckooland museum. The identity itself is inspired from the uniqueness and individuality of cuckoo clocks because they are all designed differently from one another. This is shown in the brand mark using a combination of two different typeface styles which you wouldn’t typically see paired together.
Another key inspiration for the brand identity also includes the reveal element that a cuckoo clock has. This can be seen in the exhibition posters, which reveals a photograph which encapsulates the theme of that specific exhibition. This brand identity plays with different shapes found on cuckoo clocks as well as staying true to the Black Forest heritage by using a traditional, woodland inspired colour palette.
