Wish You Were Here

A typeface inspired by the Easter Island monumental statues, which are called ‘Moai’ in Rapa Nui culture. This typeface is inspired by the different shapes and angles that the Moai statues have. All the letters within the typeface are related in the way that the weight remains heavy and stone-like and they are all slanted at a slight angle; however, some letters take different forms. This is to represent the irregular nature that rocks have exploring the idea of erosion as well as how the Moai are buried underground.
